CIPS Level 4 Foundation Diploma

Start Date: 01/09/2007
End Date: 01/06/2008
Frequency: Fortnightly
Times: 9.30-4.30

Course Summary:

Classroom Duration:  20days

Suitable For:  This is for students aiming for strategic career goals or those who intend to speacilaise in key areas.

Entry Requiements:  At least two A levels, or the equivalent as determined by CIPS. Also Acceptable are any CIPS Level 3 Certificates and any other level 3 qualifications which CIPS consider to be equivalent.

Applicants without prior qualifiactions must be 21 years of age with at least two years experience in the business environment.

Exemptions allowed from 4 units with the exception of the integrative unit (Purchasing Contexts) unit by unit on content and by priopr qualification or experience. Qualification which have relevant content at Level 4 or higher, including degree, from recognised universities will be accepted.

2) Developing contracts un purchasing and supply

3) Measuring Purchasing Performance

4) Managing purchasing and supply relationships

5) Purchasing contexts - integrative unit.

CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma

Start Date: 01/09/2007
End Date: 19/02/2009
Frequency: Fortnightly
Times: 9.30-4.30

Course Summary:

Classroom Duration:  20 days

Suitable For:  This course is for students aiming for strategic career goals or those who intend to specialise in key areas.

Entry Requiements:  Must have achieved level 4  or be exempt .

Exemptions are allowed from 4 units, with the exception of the Integrative Unit (Improving Supply Chain performance) , unit by unit on content by prior qulaification or experience. . Qualifications which have a relevant content must be a level 5 or above or their equivalent as determined by CIPS, such as a degree from a recognised university. Only units/modules studied after 1 year of an undergraduate programme will be accepted for consideration.

CIPS Level 3 Certificate

Start Date: 12/11/2007
End Date: 01/09/2008

Times: 9-30 - 4-30

Course Summary:

Classroom Duration:  15 days

Suitable for: This course is for people working in purchasing, procurement, stores control, contracts or logistics and distribution who don't have qualifications in this discipline.

Entry Requirements: No qualifications or experience required. Exemptions allowed from 4 units, with the exception of the intergrative unit (Purchasing in Action) . No experiential exemptions.
